Today I got what was hopefully my last ultrasound before Baby gets here and had a doctor appointment. Baby is head down!! This is very exciting news because at my last ultrasound they were talking about having to flip Baby. (this sounds like a painful and unpleasant experience)
Baby is measuring about 3 weeks small but is in the 20th percentile. Nothing to really worry about but they have set me up to do non-stress tests twice a week along with my weekly doctor's visits just to keep an eye on things.
The OBGYN also talked with our cardiologist and surgeon and they picked an induction date that works for everyone. That means Baby will be here June 9th! Crazy to think that is only 3 weeks from today.

ReplyDeleteMy husband Dom has good friends Kim and John Dewey who's daughter Brayton was born with a hole in her heart. I do know she had to have surgery immediately after she was born among other things during the course of the following years. We see them periodically and I did see Kim this pass weekend. She said she would be more than happy to share with you some of the things they went through. Brayton is 8 years old and doing great!!! A typical active 8 year old!!
